" Andrzej, Bonawentura, Tadeusz Kosciuszko " ☆ The Polish Spirit " ☆ The highest mountain in " Terra Australis" is named after Him, by another " Polish Spirit " in action - Count Pawel, Edmund Strzelecki ☆ The Scientist and Explorer, who named the Victorian region of Australia - " Gippsland " after the surname of the British Governor of Sydney town - "Gipps" ☆ Count Strzelecki also discovered gold in Victoria, however did not announce his discovery publically, after Governor Gipps expressed his great fears that it would spark the " gold rush " and cause massive social problems among the population of the colony. It was a sensible decision under the historical circumstances and Count Strzelecki as a scientist and a calm and realistic man of honour obliged. After that episode and after exploring the island of , what's currently called " Tasmania " on horseback , accompanied only by his Indigenous guide / assistant and sleeping near the camp fires on the ground for months, Count Strzelecki left for England and organised a massive humanitarian action to help the Irish folks suffering from the co called " patatoe famine " at that time and he saved thousands of lives .☆☆☆ Count Strzelecki was vocal against the treatment of the Indigenous, Tasmanian population. ☆☆☆ The " Light " [ the optical light ] is a " Living Inteligence" and Count Strzelecki was " Pure Light " like a guiding Star in the Dark Universe of our " solar system ". ☆☆☆ My work, presented here, was only the first, preliminary, rough sketch for my " future projects". ☆☆☆ This preliminary sketch of Andrzej, Bonawentura, Tadeusz Kosciuszko was created shortly after I've met the 93 years old, one eyed Polish war veteran - private Jan Buza. ☆☆☆ His joy, serenity and cheerfulness, while in his Royal Hobart Hospital's bed eating happily the chocolate biscuits...after He saw my studies in " Conti " pencils... gave me the oxygen of courage, to continue my " Don Kichote Campaigns " ☆☆☆ Diamentions: approximately 55 X 55 cm , Medium: Graphite pencil, aquarelles, sandpaper. © AD. 2007 ; Waldemar A.S.
